Hugh McHenry Miller D.D for
his great work on
Fort Saulsbury Sussex County Unique Memorial
its such a great book it is what I based my web
site on all I did is fill in some missing info that
Mr. Miller didn't have or couldn't find you must
remember ever since of it's closing and sale in
1948 with all military info being classified not
much is know about the fort except for a few
who were there at the time and are still with us
today and they get fewer and fewer every day.
But now thanks to President Lyndon B. Johnson
on July 4, 1966 for passing the Freedom Of
Information Act and President Bill Clinton on
October 2, 1996 for passing the Electronic
Freedom Of Information Act. We now have more
information on the Fort then ever before and
more becomes available every day
Mike Rogers for the idea and
Inspiration
and all the hard work on the insignia for
the 261 artillery division. And so much
more I could go on and on about all that
Mike has done.
Gordon Clark for the help,
driving to Baltimore and all
the personal time.
Mr. Robert H. Fields for sharing his
life
with me and all the pictures and help
with info on the fort. With out him this
whole project would not be possible.
Mr. Bill for his help, info and for
introducing
me to Robert H. Fields Mr. Bill also served
at Fort Miles in the 1940's.
Chris Walrath for is keen eye
and help with the map's
